Had a cozy stay with friendly hosts, eh? Room was clean as, but I reckon a bit more pressure in the shower would’ve been sweet. Breakfast was a real feast!

My rollercoaster experience!
Warm hospitality made us feel truly welcomed, with memorable homemade soup and delicious breakfasts that set us up for the day ahead.
Though the rooms were comfortable, some might find the shower pressure could use a little boost.

Exceptional Hospitality in a Cozy Setting
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with homemade soup and cheese scones, making us feel right at home after our long drive. The attention to detail was impressive, exemplified by the warm atmosphere in the bar, where we enjoyed a local takeaway with a few drinks. Breakfast was a feast, too, with generous portions that fueled our adventures. One minor suggestion would be to increase the pressure of the shower for a more refreshing experience after a day of hiking.

Great for a family getaway
Hosts Liam and Mary were so welcoming making us feel like we were at home. The bar downstairs was cozy with an open fire, perfect to unwind after a long day.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but honestly worth it.

This spot is a gem for anyone trekking along the Sligo Way. The cozy bar has an open fire that really warms you up after a long day. You can grab a local Chinese takeaway to enjoy there with a gin and tonic—talk about bliss after over 20 miles of hiking.
While it’s mostly a solid experience, the shower in my room had a pressure that left something to be desired. It’s not a dealbreaker, but after a long day of hiking, a powerful shower would’ve really hit the spot instead of a teasing drizzle.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
